Kforce has a client that is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst in Boston, MA.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of testing and/or Property & Casualty Insurance experience
• Experience with Quality Center/ALM for requirements, test case and defect management
• Data testing experience; Includes writing SQL and working with XML files
• Excellent skills as a communicator and facilitator, both written and oral
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team to accomplish a common goal
• Self-starter, with strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and influencing skills
• A 'process improvement' mind-set

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Property and Casualty Insurance a plus

Responsibilities

• Based on project requirements and technical design, develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality input early in the process
• Plan test schedules and strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates
• Schedule and review test plan review with project manager, business analyst, and UAT Lead
• Document test cases, results and defects utilizing OpenText (formerly HP) Quality Center/ALM
• Create and manage test data, including data for use by automated scripts where applicable
• Document and communicate project quality over the course of testing, including readiness for release using our standard test process and status reporting template
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and business analysts to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle
• Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) phase through test information sharing and test data creation for UAT team members using our automated processes
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations or standards
