About The Position

The QA Analyst supports validation of Allied’s modernized claims platform through detailed functional and integration testing. The role ensures business logic equivalence between legacy QicLink application and the refactored .NET system, partnering closely with technical and business SMEs to confirm accuracy and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • B.S., equivalent degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience required
  • 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance or system testing required
  • Strong understanding of healthcare claims operations and benefit processing logic
  • Experience with test documentation and defect management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, HP ALM)
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
  • Prior experience with legacy-to-modern platform conversions or modernization testing
  • Familiarity with QicLink or similar TPA claims platforms
  • Knowledge of .NET application testing or data migration validation

Responsibilities

  • Execute functional test cases for modernized claims modules (claim intake, adjudication, eligibility, accumulators)
  • Validate business logic and calculation equivalence between COBOL and .NET environments
  • Support test data preparation and environment coordination with technical teams
  • Document and track test results, issues, and defects through resolution
  • Participate in SIT and UAT cycles; validate outputs against historical data and baseline behaviors
  • Collaborate with business SMEs to align test coverage with operational workflows and expected claim results
  • Support readiness assessments and reporting for release go/no-go decisions
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
