In your role as the Q&R New Technology/Product Quality Team Representative (TR), you'll lead an engineering team that ensures that New Technology Integration (NTI) products and New Product Introduction (NPI) products meet the Quality, Reliability, and Compliance standards from conception to delivery, while continually improving processes, training, and issue tracking.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in HV semiconductor industry.
  • Must have strong communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software required.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor quality management system.
  • Previous people management experience required.
  • All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor require you to be onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Establish a new business process that includes quality checks for NTI products at development stages.
  • Confirm NPI product mass production readiness using Foundry Readiness Approval system before starting production lots.
  • Responsible for day-to-day tasks and employees' development.
  • Create local TTTM procedures and guides to fulfill TTTM requirements for new process qualification.
  • Develop new methods to improve NTI issue tracking and spread of countermeasures.
  • Establish improved change control management process for changes occurring during technology development.
  • Oversee NPI 8D process and make plans to continuously improve the business process.
