About The Position

The Quality Control P-Chem Analyst I (QC I) or II (QC II) will assist in the support of the analysis of bioanalytical and production specimens. Requirements This individual will support and perform analysis of bioanalytical and production samples received from contract research organizations, the manufacturing plant, or the research and development laboratory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related science field, preferred.
  • One (1) to three (3) years' experience in a laboratory environment, required.
  • Equivalent experience/education combinations considered.
  • Proficient computer skills, including, but not limited to, MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as, but not limited to, operating, maintenance, and procedural manuals.
  • Dependable, accurate, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Reasonable accommodations available if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Test Methods (TSMs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP); and internal processes.
  • Assist in the analysis of bioanalytical specimens (e.g., blood, urine, tissues).
  • Proficiently perform analytical characterization using all lab equipment.
  • Follow cGMP and cGLP standards.
  • Create and edit test methods and other quality documents.
  • Calibrate analytical instrumentation, lab equipment validation and qualification.
  • Maintain supply inventory, SDS sheets, and requesting purchase orders.
  • Successfully attend and complete all required training.
  • Review and report any issues that may affect the identity, strength, quality, and purity of the product or may improve the lab performance to lab supervisor.
  • Assist in research and development experiments and all activities related to development.
  • Troubleshoot equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
