We are seeking a motivated Engineer I – Protection & Control (P&C) to support the design, implementation, and optimization of protection and control systems for electrical substations and renewable energy infrastructure. This entry-level role provides hands-on exposure to substation engineering, relay settings, and communication systems under the guidance of experienced engineers. The objective of this position is to contribute to the safe, reliable, and code-compliant operation of electrical power systems

Requirements

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in power systems, substations, or protection & control preferred.
  • Basic understanding of power system protection principles and relay logic.
  • Familiarity with single-line diagrams and electrical schematics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • English proficiency is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to relay configuration tools and power system analysis software is a plus.
  • Understanding electrical standards is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of protection and control design packages for medium- and high-voltage projects.
  • Assist in developing and updating electrical drawings, including single-line diagrams, control schematics, and related documentation.
  • Contribute to engineering calculations and technical documentation required for project milestones.
  • Support relay settings development and coordination studies under supervision.
  • Assist in preparing documentation to ensure compliance with applicable industry standards and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams to ensure alignment across electrical, civil, and structural disciplines.
  • Adhere to internal quality standards, project schedules, and design procedures.
