Come ready to explore and you’ll find a place where your talent takes flight—beyond the borders of title, a country, or your comfort zone. Bring your passion and commitment and we’ll welcome you into a tight-knit team that takes our mission personally. Channel your drive to make a difference into shaping an organization and an industry that’s evolving fast to the future. At Pratt & Whitney, the difference you make is on display every day. Just look up. Are you ready to go beyond? The Aftermarket and Sustainment Engineering (ASE) organization is seeking an engineer to join our onsite Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) at the Columbus Engine Center in Columbus, Georgia supporting the maturation of the Next Generation Product Family (NGPF) fleet. In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting Geared Turbofan (GTF) Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), where you'll be directly involved in providing engineering solutions to address non-conforming hardware, ensuring parts are returned to service and minimizing engine work scope increases. This role will primarily focus on Hot Section Engineering (HSE) hardware for the GTF Engine, but will also have broad exposure to all sections of the engine. This role will allow you to serve not only as an onsite extension of the cognizant CIPT(s), but also effectively act as an engineering liaison, representing Pratt & Whitney Engineering to the local Disassembly, Assembly, and Test (DAT) network shops. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with engine run hardware and the assembly and disassembly processes. You'll gain valuable insights into engine functionality and business operations, providing you with an unparalleled opportunity to learn and grow as an engineer, while providing a direct engineering link to the commercial aftermarket organization.
