About The Position

Join a fast‑paced protein sciences team supporting DNA expression technologies and hands‑on purification workflows. This role is ideal for applicants with ~2 years of industry experience who enjoy combining bench science, automation, and analytical characterization in a collaborative lab environment. What You’ll Do Protein Purification & Analysis Run automated protein purifications using chromatography, TFF, and ÄKTA systems Characterize protein samples using Agilent HPLC, SDS‑PAGE, and routine assays (pH, UV‑Vis, HPLC) Perform endotoxin testing Lab Operations & Automation Prepare buffers and solutions Operate, program, and support high‑throughput testing with lab automation and liquid handling systems Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments Clean and maintain ÄKTA systems, including CIP procedures Maintain equipment and inventory Data & Documentation Record work and maintain accurate data in electronic lab notebooks Document assay data and contribute to study reports Support investigations and ensure compliance with GLP and company policies Keep study and experiment documentation thorough and up to date Cross‑Functional Support Interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders Build and maintain knowledge of lab workflows, instrumentation, and operational best practices

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field
  • Availability to start as soon as possible (2 weeks - ~1 month from offer)
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant laboratory experience with protein purification
  • Authorization to work in the US indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Run automated protein purifications using chromatography, TFF, and ÄKTA systems
  • Characterize protein samples using Agilent HPLC, SDS‑PAGE, and routine assays (pH, UV‑Vis, HPLC)
