About The Position

Purchasing & Supply Chain Buyer Madison, WI Up to $75,000 per year Full-Time We’re Hiring Immediately. SARIS EQUIPMENT LLC is looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Purchasing & Supply Chain Buyer who can take ownership of raw material planning, purchasing, logistics, and vendor coordination. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoy solving problems, we want to talk to you. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are available to support production while maintaining strong vendor relationships and accurate system reporting. You’ll work closely with suppliers, freight providers, and our manufacturing facility in North Carolina to help keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Experience in purchasing, supply chain, or business operations
• Experience in maintenance purchasing including parts, one of a kind pieces of equipment
• Experience reconciling purchase orders and supplier invoices
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Ability to learn and effectively use MRP systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• High level of professionalism and integrity

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate raw material planning using our MRP system
• Create and manage production purchase orders from initiation through approval
• Monitor vendor performance and resolve PO or invoice discrepancies
• Support capital project purchasing and track project spending
• Generate purchasing and inventory reports
• Manage vendor setup and consumable purchasing
• Track international freight shipments in accordance with Incoterms
• Set up and maintain landed cost data in the MRP system
• Coordinate occasional international parcel shipments
• Issue and track supplier compliance letters
• Maintain sustainability documentation and compliance records
