Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, the role is responsible for coordinating and supporting all Purchasing activity in relation to New Product Introduction Program activity and localization projects.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Integration: Ensure that Purchasing support the introduction of new machines in a consistent manner across the Group that facilitates the execution of appropriate category strategies.
  • Materials / Supply Management: Ensure that production supplier launch activities, while mitigating potential risk, are aligned to the business, transparent and consistently measured across the group.
  • Business Management & Coordination: Ensure that any risk to project builds from a supply of components perspective are clearly articulated to relevant stakeholders, risk registers are transparent, and mitigation plans are effectively communicated.
  • Relationship Management: Ensuring cross functional alignment with the NPIP and Operations teams with regards to the effective launch of new machines.
  • Teamwork & Self Development: Shares best practice and lessons learned with peers to support others with objectives whilst driving personal development plan.
