Job Summary The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle for the venue. This includes sourcing, vendor management, inventory coordination, and cost control. The role requires strong collaboration with culinary, warehouse, and finance teams to forecast demand and ensure operational efficiency. The Purchasing Manager is a key contributor to maintaining high-quality service by ensuring the right products are available at the right time.

Responsibilities

  • Place orders for food, beverage, and supplies
  • Review stock levels and reconcile discrepancies with warehouse team
  • Track deliveries and confirm quality upon arrival
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm timelines and resolve issues
  • Update pricing and vendor data in procurement systems
  • Maintain organized records of invoices and purchase orders
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships
  • Review historical data and trends to forecast purchasing needs
  • Align purchasing activity with budgetary guidelines
  • Collaborate with department leaders to anticipate event requirements
  • Implement purchasing best practices and sustainability initiatives
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal standards
