We are seeking a skilled Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator to join our growing team! The Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly across multiple facilities. This position supports purchasing, inventory, and receiving activities while partnering closely with vendors, internal teams, and Accounting. You’ll also serve as the primary backup for the Finished Goods Supervisor, making this a great opportunity to expand your operational impact.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, preferred
  • 1-3 years of purchasing or inventory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Experience with ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Create, release, and track purchase orders for supplies, dry goods, and select ingredients, ensuring compliance with approved pricing and vendors
  • Coordinate with vendors to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery schedules; follow up on delays or discrepancies
  • Verify receiving documentation (packing slips, BOLs) and communicate material availability to internal teams
  • Monitor inventory levels across multiple locations, perform cycle counts, support physical inventories, and investigate variances
  • Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in the ERP; identify opportunities to reduce waste and prevent stockouts
  • Partner with Accounting to reconcile POs, invoices, and receipts; ensure timely documentation and support month-end and year-end close
