About The Position

Xpressdocs is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our Procurement Team. You will be responsible for identifying suppliers, researching goods and services, processing purchase orders, and verifying delivered items. The Purchasing Coordinator will manage day-to-day outsourcing of 3rd party products, as well as vendor relationships. This will require you to have a high attention to detail, effective time management skills and strong problem-solving ability.

  • A sense of urgency and ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Critical thinking skills along with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications (e.g. Excel, Outlook, Word), etc.
  • CRM case knowledge and experience.
  • Prior promotional products experience- ASI/ESP/Sage—PPAI show experience.
  • The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time.
  • The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time.
  • The ability to move throughout all departments within the company, including our production areas.
  • The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubical.
  • The ability to operate phones and computers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage promotional apparel and hardgoods projects that come in from our Sales and Account Management teams. Ensuring a timely and well-communicated delivery of the information.
  • Provide estimates, answer questions, and assist in the search and procurement of promotional goods.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders.
  • Coordinate art and proofing processes.
  • Oversee successful delivery of products / orders.
  • Source and select the most suitable suppliers in terms of reliability, product quality, and cost-efficiency.
  • Maintain records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, and payments.
  • Sample ordering and tracking.
  • Build and maintain positive, long-term vendor relations.
