About The Position

Medina County District Library is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to provide accounting and administrative support to Fiscal Officer and Deputy Fiscal Officer. Position involves reviewing and organizing all purchasing related documents, preparing bank deposits, working with vendors, maintaining financial records, researching vendor pricing, and ordering and distributing supplies throughout the library system. Must have a working knowledge of web-based technology and be comfortable with processing documents electronically as we progress to a paperless environment.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in accounting, business, finance or related field
  • minimum of 3 years prior experience in an accounting environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • working knowledge of web-based technology
  • comfortable with processing documents electronically
  • Strong business math aptitude
  • high attention to detail
  • accuracy
  • excellent organizational and documenting skills
  • able to multi-task and meet deadlines
