Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with CS Procurement Policies and U.S. Government regulations specific to non-profit healthcare research.
  • Oversees research procurement processes, daily audits, and partners with research stakeholders to support procurement compliance, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Administers departmental purchase/service contracts, prepares proposals and pre-contract data collection.
  • Documents and tracks audit-related key performance indicators to ensure compliance with organizational policies and US government regulations.
  • Monitors research purchase orders, bid waivers, and relevant documents, ensuring accuracy in content, price, and terms. Identifies discrepancies and either provides recommendations or takes corrective action.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) specific to research procurement and compliance.
  • Conducts training sessions to ensure adherence to government regulations and internal operational policies.
  • Acts as a key liaison between technical teams and government operations on research-related contracting matters.
