About The Position

RESPONSIBILITIES: Purchasing of Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) items as required Provide weekly and monthly report on non-inventory spend activity levels Daily production reporting Temp labour hours reporting - review and reconcile with invoices Point of contact for offsite A/P representative to analyze issues and initiate resolutions Generate SAP reports as required Ensure compliance with all Corporate Accounting guidelines Regularly scrutinize Open PO Report and ensure items are valid Reconcile statements of account Backup for the Materials Coordinator Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: One to two years of Purchasing and related general accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience is an asset) Two to 3 years’ experience establishing good working relationships with vendors and service providers. SAP or similar ERP system experience High school diploma or equivalent. Some business or college courses an asset Knowledge of MS Office applications Proficient in data entry Excellent time management skills SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES: All workers must comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations (OHSA) and the Company’s Health & Safety Policy. (1) A worker shall, work in compliance with the provisions of this Act and the regulations; use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that the worker’s employer requires to be used or worn; (c) report to his or her employer or supervisor the absence of or defect in any equipment or protective device of which the worker is aware and which may endanger himself, herself or another worker; and report to his or her employer or supervisor any contravention of this Act or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which he or she knows. (2) No worker shall, remove or make ineffective any protective device required by the regulations or by his or her employer, without providing an adequate temporary protective device and when the need for removing or making ineffective the protective device has ceased, the protective device shall be replaced immediately; use or operate any equipment, machine device or thing or work in a manner that may endanger himself, herself or any other worker; or engage in any prank, contest, feat of strength, unnecessary running or rough and boisterous conduct. The salary or pay range is $19.85– $24/hour. Exact salary offered will depend on candidate’s experience, work location, skills, etc. Mauser Packaging Solutions is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

One to two years of Purchasing and related general accounting experience (manufacturing industry experience is an asset)
