Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or supply chain management is a plus
• Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Basic understanding of supply chain processes and procurement procedures

Responsibilities

• Assist in the procurement of goods and services by preparing purchase orders and tracking deliveries
• Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions and supplier information
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that arise
• Support the evaluation of supplier performance and assist in supplier selection processes
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide necessary support
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management activities
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and assist in budget tracking
