About The Position

Overview Opportunity: Purchasing Assistant Perform moderately complex data entry work to enter vendor data and maintain files and documentation. Essential Job Functions Maintain vendor files. Verify documentation. Monitor SOX Procedure compliance and system updates. Obtain W-9’s, manage document retention. Assist with issuing 1099’s. Complete Credit Applications. Assist with setting up EFT / ACH accounts. Occasional responsibility for other purchasing functions. Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program. Practice safe work habits. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Graduation from a high school or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience performing data entry with accuracy.
  • Knowledge of computer systems and/or spreadsheet applications.
  • Skill in typing required.
  • Ability to perform works which involves entering or verifying a variety of documents.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and perform with a high level of accuracy.
