This position serves as a Purchasing Analyst within the Division of State Purchasing. This position requires a natural curiosity to explore innovative solutions, stay up to date on industry trends, and continuously seek improvements in procurement processes. This is an exciting opportunity to obtain hands-on experience in government contracting, create value for state agencies, and serve the State of Florida. The day-to-day responsibilities for this position include conducting comprehensive research and analysis for a range of procurement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. You will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing contract documents to ensure compliance with relevant standards. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing and executing procurement strategies focused on optimizing customer satisfaction while effectively managing costs for government contracts.
