We Take Care of Our Team What You Drive at DTNA Strategic sourcing buyer for N5-2 and CCI liaison role for TT/GN Lead strategic sourcing decisions and manage suppliers for portfolio of around $90 Million on systems related to Chassis components which include: 5th Wheel Core team member of strategic projects under MatCo (Mat. Cost Optimization) for complexity reductions initiatives and as liaison for CCI representing Purchasing function and accordingly report progress to TT/GN management team Lead for coordination of OLT topics from Purchasing and Supply chain within TT/GN and create transparency to drive initiatives Execute negotiations to establish or renew long-term supplier agreements to purchase critical materials including parts component pricing, tooling, services, warranty and Aftermarket support Interface with suppliers and DTNA Engineering, Sales, Aftermarket, Quality, Supplier Management and Manufacturing to ensure the timely and accurate communication of specifications Contribute to Purchasing global cost targets finding consistent and sustainable cost reductions by negotiating Long Term Agreements together with suppliers Manage suppliers to contracted terms and resolve any discrepancies for raw materials, pricing agreements, new part quotes, and continuous cost improvement projects Work close to the Central Purchasing Office in regard to operational processes, such as getting new parts quotes, sending drawings to suppliers and loading contracts on Purchasing systems Represent Procurement in Strategic Development Teams for New Projects (SDT) Represent TP/GN Purchasing & Supply Chain team as liaison in the cross-functional DTNA CCI Team, providing Purchasing input into engineering/supplier cost improvement idea generation and implementation. Monitor the progress of CCI cost improvement ideas across purchasing team and reporting progress to senior management incl. E3/E2 on regular basis Support Chassis (TT/GN5) purchasing management team for strategic initiatives that would include market analysis (RM, freight, energy, inflation), commodity strategy review and documentation , and regular COMET reports analysis & reporting. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to analyze, organize and summarize large amounts of data into simple or key terms
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge and MS PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and make recommendations to upper management
  • Ability to work within tight timeframes and meet strict deadlines
  • Proactive, driven, self-starter and quick learner with the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment

Nice To Haves

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Degree focus in Business, Finance, Engineering, Project Management or related field preferred
  • Previous automotive/industry experience
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Strong project management skills

Responsibilities
