About The Position

Purchase and manage materials to support both the manufacturing and distribution portions for Dicor’s Invision division’s business, while maintaining appropriate inventory levels in a cost-effective manner.

Minimum HS diploma.
Experience in an office setting or similar environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in related or applicable field a plus.
Experience in both domestic and overseas purchasing and logistics management a plus.
Bachelors’ Degree in related field
Experience is electronic system (computer skills).

Responsibilities

Basic cycle counts of raw material and finished goods.
Assist in the execution of physical inventory activities and variance review.
Execute purchase orders to support manufacturing and distribution demand.
Evaluate sales forecasted data to determine material requirements.
Provide daily communication regarding material arrivals and stock levels.
Tracking of overseas containers – status and arrival times.
Coordinate and communicate material requirement forecast data to the supply base.
Assist the Sourcing Manager in daily activities.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce overall material costs – lower-level negotiations.
Ability to perform data review and analysis.
Participate in supplier negotiations and strategic planning to further career development.
