The Purchasing Agent Intern will gather and compare quotes for goods and services in accordance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures. Assist in supporting the development and implementation of purchasing processes across departments for corporate operations. Request and compile quotes for goods and services in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. Support coordination with department managers to monitor and maintain inventory levels. Assist in evaluating vendors based on pricing, reliability, service quality, and transaction history. Observe and support vendor communications, including discussions related to pricing and available discounts. Review purchasing documents for completeness and accuracy. Weekly attendance to Aloha Culture meeting. Perform other related duties as assigned.
