The Purchasing Agent 1 is the first level management of the procurement processes and functions needed to support the manufacturing and aftermarket efforts of White River Marine Group. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Verifies purchase indicators, initiates purchase orders, and oversees delivery. Supports and develops collaborative supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains. Measures, analyzes, and manages key aspects of supplier performance. Monitors shortage and exception reporting to identify and execute expedite needs. Performs root cause analysis and aid in the implementation of corrective actions. Monitors inventory levels to optimize supply chain efficiency. Communicates aspect of procurement functions with cross functional business units, including: Logistics, Inventory Control, Sourcing, Engineering, Bill of Materials, and Accounting teams. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
