Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in: Heavy mechanical assembly
  • 3+ years of experience in: Industrial maintenance or repair
  • 3+ years of experience in: Pump, motor, gearbox, or rotating equipment repair
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Experience using precision tools (micrometers, dial indicators, torque tools, calipers)
  • Comfort working independently in physically demanding environments
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
  • Basic computer skills for work orders and test documentation
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and safety focus

Nice To Haves

  • Overhead crane, hoist, or forklift experience
  • Background in fabrication, welding, diesel, or industrial equipment
  • Experience working in tight assembly cells, enclosed spaces, or elevated positions

Responsibilities

  • Tearing down, inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding industrial pumps and rotating equipment
  • Performing hydrostatic and performance testing using test stands and specialized tools
  • Operating overhead cranes, hoists, rigging, and material‑handling equipment
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, work instructions, and test standards
  • Prepping, painting, and packaging pumps and components for shipment
  • Supporting receiving, stocking, and fulfillment of parts and pump orders
  • Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and following lockout/tagout procedures
