About The Position

MultiCare’s Pulse Heart Institute is a physician led institute with multi-specialty partnership with Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies. The Provider Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling functions for Providers, maintaining the provider call log and ensuring that the locations are adequately staffed. The incumbent performs reconciliation of provider schedules and payroll records to track contractual shift quotas, analyzing and reporting out on the data. This position works independently and requires organization, attention to detail, and computer skills. The incumbent is available after hours by pager or cellular phone for schedule changes and must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Post high school office procedures training or relevant college level courses preferred
Minimum two (2) years related medical office experience
experience with maintaining multiple calendars
strong attention to detail
ability to multitask
