About The Position

The Puller/Sander/Painter is responsible for separating parts from molds safely and securely as to not cause any damage as well as sanding and painting the part for a clean finish. The Puller/Sander/Painter will be required to use power tools (DA, Sander Tool) and must be experienced in reading a tape measure.

Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• General math skills required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be experienced in reading a tape measure.
• Will be required to use power tools (DA, Sander Tool).

Responsibilities

• Pull and separate molds from the part safely and securely.
• Sand parts down to a smooth finish for painting.
• Mix gelcoat and MEKP to hand paint small parts.
• Separate part from the mold once paint cures using a mallet and shims.
• Organize molds when not in use.
• Sort parts by the schedule and make sure they are located in the designated area for the cut booth.
• Ability to perform job functions safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment while wearing all required PPE and following safety policy.
• Must practice good housekeeping by keeping work areas clean at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
