About The Position

Utilization of pneumatic orbital and other sanding methods, to ensure the finish sanding quality of all cabinet door panels, rails & stiles to include all profiled millwork.

Requirements

• One to Three years related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Studies all production paperwork for the quantities, sizes and wood species of articles to be hand sanded.
• Quality checks all articles to be sanded.
• Wood putties/repairs, all natural and unnatural defects of all articles to be sanded.
• Communicates to leads and supervisor, all substandard quality items that cannot sufficiently be sanded and/or repaired prior to finishing.
• Hand sand/orbital sands all articles complete, to finish quality, for each set of production paperwork.
• Must have some flexibility, other duties may be assigned.
