About The Position

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking a detail-oriented Publishing Data Coordinator to join our dynamic publishing team. In collaboration with the Product, Sales, and eCommerce teams, you’ll ensure the timely delivery of digital content and metadata to internal and external ecosystems and provide state-specific Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) data to retailers and government agencies. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, have an eye for accuracy, and be comfortable working independently and as part of a team. #LI-TL3 This is a full-time position in our Greensboro office. The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Skilled in Excel (able to use PivotTables, conditional formatting, utilizing lookup functions, and creating data validation lists, and using advanced formulas) and Google Suite
• 1-2 years of database experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be organized and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment
• Must be motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of Product Information Management systems (PIM) such as Salsify is a plus
• Working knowledge of Channel Management Platforms such as Rithum is a plus
• Working knowledge of database platforms such as Filemaker is a plus

Responsibilities

• Create, validate, and maintain internal and external product data, such as title, copy, bullets, testing and compliance, dimensions, and weights
• Ensure data adheres to internal and external product data standards
• Compile product data and content for purposes such as populating trading partner templates, uploading image files, and creating and maintaining item detail pages for eCommerce sites
• Oversee the collection and distribution of product environmental data to comply with state-specific reporting requirements, such as recycling/sustainability features, and prop65 information
• Track and report on the overall progress of projects to the team and its collaborating members
