About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a Publications Order Clerk - OSHA DAP in Washington, DC to support an engagement for a branch of the federal government responsible for occupational safety, wage and hour standards, unemployment insurance benefits, reemployment services, and some economic statistics across the United States. The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to provide administrative support services to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Directorates. OSHA’s Directorate of Administrative Programs (DAP) provides administrative support services to the various Program Offices within OSHA as part of its mission. OSHA DAP requires administrative support services to include administrative, secretarial and clerical skills to include, but not limited to, organizational skills, customer service, calendar management, travel arrangements, reporting, project planning, supply management, computer operations of various applications, debt collection and publication order processing. Publications Order Clerk - OSHA DAP Candidates shall work to support requirements for Program Support and The Publications Order Clerk will provide OSHA with Publications Request Services.

Requirements

  • The Publications Order Clerk - OSHA DAP shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past one (1) year
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/Power point) and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.
  • The candidate shall ensure that duties are performed in a competent and professional manner that meets milestones/delivery schedules as outlined.
  • Contractor personnel must be a high school graduate and have at least one year experience performing similar services in a similar environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” (also referred to as an “Employment Authorization”) by the USG’s designated Security Office.

Responsibilities

  • Support data input and customer service functions related to requests for OSHA publications received via internet, fax, telephone and regular mail.
  • Assist OSHA staff and general public with order requests.
