Plans, directs and reviews the activities of the Public Works Department. Duties may include, but are not limited to: planning, organizing, scheduling, and delegating assignments to subordinate supervisors; developing routing collection plans for residential and commercial refuse collection; reviewing collection methodologies and implementing process changes. Supervision Received Direction received is very general and focuses on strategic objectives and is typically collaborative in nature. This is a policy-making level of management and would be considered "upper middle" management.
