About The Position
Our client, an established manufacturing company with a corporate office in Florham Park, is growing their financial operations and looking to hire a Public Staff Accountant! The Public Staff Accountant will join a team of 4 Accountants and be primarily responsible for the accounts payable, journal entries, and month-end assistance. This position will report directly to the Controller and has the potential for advancement in the year ahead.
Requirements
- The Staff Accountant will have 3+ years of experience.
- Proficiency in NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP.
- High attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in Big 4 or Public Accounting is a plus.
Responsibilities
- The Public Staff Accountant will handle the full-cycle accounting.
- Manage all monthly reporting for AP & AR.
- Process journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in the month-end and quarter-end close.
- Some fixed assets work.
