About The Position

Public Service Interns receive training and complete a variety of assignments in staff activities directly relating to their major course of study while enrolled in an educational institution. Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation. This position is with the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) in Carson City. The Division is looking for students who seek to gain work experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on Application Development.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, design, and creation of multiple applications in various systems used by DWSS.
