Public Service Interns receive training and complete a variety of assignments in staff activities directly relating to their major course of study while enrolled in an educational institution. Incumbents perform in a trainee capacity and acquire the knowledge, skills and abilities required in this occupation. This position is with the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) in Carson City. The Division is looking for students who seek to gain work experience in Information Technology with an emphasis on Application Development. The intern's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to maintenance, design, and creation of multiple applications in various systems used by DWSS. Programming languages include Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
