THE ROLE: We are looking for a high-impact Territory Executive to drive AMD’s growth across the Public Sector — including State & Local Government, Higher Education, and K-12 institutions. In this highly visible role, you will own the strategy, relationships, and go-to-market execution for your region, influencing end-user demand and accelerating AMD adoption across client PCs, servers, and graphics solutions. You will collaborate closely with OEM partners (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.), channel resellers, and AMD’s internal teams to shape requirements, win competitive opportunities, support key bids, and ensure AMD is the preferred technology partner across your territory. This is a strategic hunter role with strong autonomy, high visibility, and direct impact on AMD’s Public Sector business trajectory. THE PERSON: Does this sound like you? We’d love to talk! Nice To Haves

  • Proven success in Public Sector / SLED sales or business development, ideally with experience navigating procurement cycles and contract vehicles
  • Strong understanding of OEM and channel partner motions, ideally with Dell, HP, Lenovo or similar ecosystems
  • Experience executing go-to-market strategies, influencing specifications, and managing multi-stakeholder engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to drive growth through planning, prospecting, partnering, and value-based selling

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow AMD’s footprint within Public Sector accounts through direct end-user engagement and territory leadership
  • Develop multi-quarter account and territory plans, targeting key SLED agencies, higher-ed institutions, and procurement organizations
  • Drive sell-out and pipeline growth in partnership with OEMs and resellers, ensuring alignment on AMD’s strategy and value proposition
  • Influence customer specifications, RFPs, and bids by supporting OEM/partner responses and positioning AMD as the preferred architecture
  • Enable and train partner sales teams on AMD messaging, roadmaps, and competitive positioning
  • Consistently achieve quarterly and annual revenue, share, and pipeline goals
  • Serve as AMD’s trusted representative within the SLED ecosystem — building long-term relationships that drive awareness, consideration, and adoption
  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Marketing, Business Units, Channel, and Operations to deliver seamless customer support and execution
