Public Sector Product Marketing Manager, Google Cloud

GoogleReston, VA
1d$137,000 - $201,000

About The Position

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end. Google has been a trusted partner to government and education since 2006, continually expanding our offerings to meet the unique needs of the public sector. The establishment of Google Public Sector in 2022 [https://cloud.google.com/blog/topics/public-sector/announcing-google-public-sector?e=48754805] marked a significant development in Google’s commitment to partnering with government and educational institutions. Our integrated strategy allows public sector organizations to leverage AI tools and scale AI with Google’s infrastructure while building confidence through secure-by-design and secure-by-default principles and maintaining control with solutions like our air-gapped cloud. This integrated approach allows customers' organizations to scale and innovate with proprietary Google, innovative partner, and customizable open source models in a unified AI platform while protecting customers' organizations with secure custom silicon, chips, and infrastructure and services such as Zero Trust and Google Threat Intelligence. Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
