About The Position
POSTING FOR UNM ,C EMPLOYEES ONLY his position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of UNPPSD Support Services. Knowing all financial aspects of business in a University auxiliary is paramount and business continuity is critical to the operational success of the unit. Similar to sole ownership of a small business, this position must be fully knowledgeable of estimating, project management and interface with FMP and contractors, competitive pricing processes with suppliers, purchasing systems like Ariba, invoicing and budget management, and inputting project completion results in the proper tracking systems. While this is primary, this position is responsible for fully knowing all operations in Support Services and how they interface with the financial side of the division. This provides a line of succession should the Director be OOO or incapacitated for any reason.
