About The Position

The Public Safety Investigator shall conduct preliminary and follow-up investigations of incidents reported to JHACH Public Safety Administration, encompassing a wide range of investigative issues. Ability to ensure, through proactive techniques, the security and safety of all employees, patients and guests with the highest levels of professionalism and customer service in order to create the securest and safest environment possible Ability to respond to a variety of emergencies/crisis situations and provide the necessary intervention to restore normal conditions and begin treatment of injured persons Proactively protects the health system’s facilities and assets in order to prevent damage and loss Conducts a wide range of complex investigations within the JHACH environment in order to accurately identify problem issues and recommend corrective measures Coordinates and conducts investigations, activities and communication with appropriate law enforcement agencies with the intent of improving relationships and solving potential criminal matters Conducts proactive quality control activities, such as public safety staff training or policy writing, to improve performance outcome

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years of demonstrated investigative experience at a local, state, or federal law enforcement level (OR) 10 years’ experience as an investigator in the private or public sector
  • Current Florida Driver’s License
