Requirements

Currently working towards BSc/BA or recent graduate in Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field
Background in researching, writing and editing publications
Interest in different industries, particularly in Faith, Business, and Government
Excellent writing skills in multiple formats
Presentation skills
Project and Time management
Problem-solving aptitude
Results driven
Knowledge of AP Style

Responsibilities

Research, write, edit, and fact-check press releases, statements, and editorials
Develop and curate customized media contact lists, tailored for each client’s location audience and campaigns
Identify opportunities in the news cycle
Collaborate and brainstorm alongside a team to assign tasks to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
Master and utilize company PR tools (such as Cision and Meltwater)
Create analysis for client/media interactions and circulation
Research, establish, and develop media relationships
Present superb written material by requested deadlines
Increase media interactions with client press releases measured by company analytics
Other activities as assigned by manager
