Read AISeattle, WA
3d$75,000 - $90,000

About The Position

We’re looking for a PR Manager who will be instrumental in shaping and delivering all facets of Read AI’s communications. From securing product reviews and elevating launches, to cultivating media relationships and supporting new partnerships, you’ll help define how the world understands and engages with our brand. You’ll stay close to the product team to translate milestones into meaningful coverage, while also building narratives that resonate across business, tech, SaaS/AI, and new media. Reporting to the VP, Communications, this role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in fast-moving environments and knows how to turn ideas into coverage. Reporting to the Head of Communications, you’ll be a strategic partner who can pitch, write, organize, and execute—whether that’s working a media list, hosting an intimate dinner, or considering new ways to get our platform and data into the hands of reporters and influencers.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of PR experience, with a track record of securing product coverage for early-stage SaaS/AI startups (B2B2C experience preferred).
  • Strong network of media contacts across business, tech, SaaS/AI, and enthusiasm for building relationships with new media/creators.
  • Passion for products—you get excited about the details and know how to translate them into stories that resonate.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills; able to simplify technical concepts without losing depth.
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment: proactive, independent, and able to wear multiple hats.
  • Experience managing product reviews, media kits, and launch cycles end-to-end.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

  • Partner closely with product and comms leadership to identify and elevate key milestones into compelling narratives.
  • Lead PR campaigns around product launches, reviews, and feature updates, ensuring consistent and timely storytelling.
  • Build and deepen relationships with traditional media, tech press, and emerging creators across social and digital platforms.
  • Pitch and secure product and news coverage in a wide range of outlets—from legacy business press to new media and influencers.
  • Write and edit press releases, pitches, product messaging, FAQs, and review kits.
  • Stay plugged into the competitive landscape to inform positioning and messaging.
  • Plan and execute media touchpoints: briefings, product reviews, events, and IRL experiences.
  • Measure impact of campaigns and share insights to refine future efforts.

Benefits

  • Benefits include low deductible health plans, flexible time off, and family leave programs.
