About The Position

The Public Relations Intern for Sally Beauty will support the team with the detail-oriented execution of traffic & awareness driving public relations efforts inclusive of events, partnerships, and external communications.

Requirements

• Current junior/ senior undergraduate student studying marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, or a related field
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role/ proven understanding of public relations
• Interest in beauty/ retail with an awareness of industry trends
• Familiar with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Support presentation materials related to event planning and execution
• Weekly PR reporting in partnership with PR agency and internal teams
• Support the development of execution timelines and PR calendar management
• Draft & review communications related to PR activations inclusive of press releases, LinkedIn posts, etc.
• Product orders and PR closet management
