The Public Relations Intern works closely with team members to promote the Rocket brand through multiple media channels. This team member makes full use of their time management and communications skills as they learn new tips and tricks along the way. Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

Write a variety of internal and corporate materials, including press kits, fact sheets, bios, pitches, presentations, etc.
Assist with scheduling and coordinating speaking opportunities, logistics and other events
Assist with event planning and management
Maintain tracking and reporting of public relations activities
Develop media lists
Conduct research and compile background information for briefing documents
Monitor media for daily coverage of the Rock Family of Companies
