About The Position

We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Public Relations & Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. This entry-level PR and communications role offers hands-on experience in community outreach, event-based public relations, and nonprofit communications. You’ll work closely with our clients to build brand awareness, engage communities, and support live events. No prior experience is required — we provide paid training, mentorship, and growth opportunities to launch your career in PR, communications, or event coordination.

Requirements

  • Passionate about public relations, communications, and community engagement
  • Outgoing, friendly, and confident in face-to-face interactions
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced event environment
  • Team player but able to work independently
  • 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Available for weekends and evening events

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients at community events, fundraisers, and outreach campaigns
  • Engage with the public to share information, promote initiatives, and encourage participation
  • Assist with event setup, registration, and logistics
  • Create and distribute on-site communications, promotional materials, and messaging
  • Track attendance, engagement, and community interactions
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent messaging and successful event execution
  • Participate in training and professional development workshops
