About The Position

Tier One Partners is looking for a driven, creative Account Executive to join our growing PR team. This is a highly client-facing role for someone who already understands agency life and is eager to level up. You'll work closely with clients and reporters, contribute meaningfully to earned media strategy, and play a hands-on role in shaping campaigns that deliver measurable impact. What You'll Do As an Account Executive, you'll be a key contributor across multiple accounts, owning core elements of earned media programs and supporting broader PR initiatives. You will:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, or a related field
  • 2-3 years of public relations experience, including at least 1 year in an agency environment (B2B technology experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated success supporting or executing earned media relations campaigns
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style across formats and audiences
  • Familiarity with media databases and monitoring tools such as Meltwater
  • Understanding of PR measurement and reporting approaches
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced agency environment
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset with a desire to take initiative and grow

Responsibilities

  • Drive earned media efforts by researching reporters, developing creative pitch angles, conducting outreach, and staffing media interviews
  • Write high-quality PR materials including press releases, pitches, bylined articles, and client-ready communications
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with clients through clear communication, thoughtful reporting, and problem-solving
  • Actively contribute to client calls with concise updates, insights, and recommendations
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Collaborate closely with teammates to keep deliverables on track, troubleshoot challenges, and optimize campaign performance
  • Continuously deepen your understanding of clients' industries, competitive landscapes, and business goals
