About The Position

Vertical Screen is a leading applicant screening firm, operating with a family of companies including Business Information Group, Certiphi Screening, Truescreen, and Fieldprint. They specialize in building smart technology for fast, accurate background checks for clients in business, healthcare, education, and government. Public Records Researchers are responsible for investigating the criminal backgrounds of clients' applicants, specifically working with criminal court case records at the county, state, and federal levels. The role involves comprehensive company-provided training designed to enhance critical thinking skills. While interest or an academic background in criminal justice is welcome, it is not a requirement. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday on-site position in Warminster, PA, with various available shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Training will be conducted on the 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift for 2-4 weeks, and the position pays $15 per hour.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Analyzing public criminal court records and preparing reports based on this analysis
• Making phone calls to various agencies to verify record data
