About The Position
Performs duties associated with population-based public health. Primary areas of responsibility include working, coordinating, and promoting immunization clinics, performing immunization audits, communicable disease prevention, and teaching health related classes to all age groups.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- three years of progressively responsible experience in public health preferred
- Requires Missouri R.N. License
- CPR/AED Certification
- valid driver’s license
- Must complete required NIMS level training within first six months of hire
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency essential
- Requires ability to speak effectively and respond to questions using tact, discretion, initiative, and independent judgment within established guidelines
