We have an exciting opportunity for a Public Engagement Specialist to join our team! The Public Engagement Specialist works in close coordination with the Public Engagement Supervisor to implement the annual company-wide outreach strategy. Responsible for managing H2O to go and Indy H2O programs. The successful candidate is responsible for implementing company education program. They additionally conduct outreach for Tier 2 and Tier 3 projects as defined by the annual outreach strategy. The successful candidate also assists in the implementation of outreach associated with Tier 1 projects. Furthermore, they ensure that outreach communications are delivered via multiple channels including direct mailers, public meetings, social media posts, websites, emails, and news outlets. The successful candidate also maintains outreach records and regularly reports to departmental and company leadership on outreach performance. Finally, they assist with Neighborhood Ambassador Program (NAP) and actively participate in civic and philanthropic communities throughout the service territory.
