About The Position

Responsible for the ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of all public/common guest and employee areas throughout the resort including but not limited to: restrooms, lobby, elevators and hallways, indoor and outdoor resort common spaces, while following safe working habits and exceeding guest expectations.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a team in unison with all members of the staff in order to ensure an efficiently organized and operated department
• Minimum of six months to one year previous Housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals
• Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; twist and bend during majority of working hours
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the hotel/resort property 100% of the assigned shift.
• Adequate manual dexterity to regularly lift equipment weighing up to 50lbs. (i.e. trash, furniture, mattresses, towels, linens, vacuums, mops, brooms, mattresses, furniture, etc.)
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays as required - this position may be required to work flexible, rotating shifts.
