SUMMARY: The PT Shuttle Driver role is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting product and materials to ensure daily operational business needs are met. This position calls for someone looking to work part time hours of 24 hours per week, but could work up to 40 hours per week as needed occasionally.

Requirements

• Current Class A CDL Driver’s license
• Must be able to pass DOT physical
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• 1 year of experience with completed driver's school training OR 2 years of experience without driver's school training
• Proficiency in English

Nice To Haves

• Poultry or meat processing experience

Responsibilities

• Perform all pre and post trip checks as per protocol.
• Operate the provided equipment within the guidelines of the George’s Fleet Safety policy.
• Operate ELD properly and legally.
• Obey all local, State, Federal and DOT regulations.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain satisfactory attendance and job performance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Obey all animal welfare rules and regulation laws.
• Return signed proof of delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
• All other duties as assigned.
