About The Position

As a Cook, you are essential to delivering high-quality dishes that enhance the guest experience. You oversee kitchen operations during your shift, ensuring ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and prepared to standard. Your precision, efficiency, and attention to detail directly impact the success of the culinary team.

Requirements

  • 1 year of cooking experience in a high-volume or fast-paced kitchen
  • Strong knife skills and ability to handle kitchen tools with precision and safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
  • At least 18 Years of Age
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
  • Food Handlers Card
  • Frequently push/pull up to 50 lbs
  • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
  • Frequently Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
  • Frequently standing and walking
  • Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
  • Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
  • Ability to distinguish between shades of color
  • Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
  • Prepare all food items in accordance with standard recipes or supervisor direction to ensure consistency and quality
  • Ensure proper storage, rotation, and labeling of ingredients to maintain freshness and food safety standards
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and refrigeration units to ensure cleanliness and operational condition
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift; perform general kitchen cleaning tasks as assigned
  • Assist the chef in food preparation, menu execution, and proper product placement
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
