With over 1,500 specialty SKUs spanning 500+ product families, Vybond serves 1,500+ customers across the HVAC, building and construction, industrial, retail, medical, aerospace, automotive, and other specialty industries. Job Summary: The HR Generalist supports the Human Resources function in a dynamic manufacturing environment by managing recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll, and succession planning. This role ensures HR operations run smoothly and align with company goals and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in business, business administration or human resources, or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience in an HR Generalist position with manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Team-oriented and detail-focused with strong people skills.
  • Must understand the importance of employee confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HR systems, and Excel.
  • Demonstrates group presentation skills to large audiences

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Conduct interviews, background checks, and onboarding processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure staffing needs are met.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Support conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in alignment with company policies.
  • Promote a positive work environment and employee engagement.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Participate in incident investigations and reporting.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify key roles and high-potential employees for succession planning.
  • Support a high performance culture that increases employee engagement.
  • Support the HR team with special projects as needed.
  • Review and respond to general unemployment agency inquiries.
  • Conduct new employee orientation and other training programs when needed.
  • Lead the employment function including, interviewing, and the separation process.
  • Prepare and maintain employee records such as attendance, overtime, vacation/PDay and time worked.
  • Maintain employee files and confidential data.
  • Assist with processing payroll changes, job bids and other hourly positions related to job transfers.
  • Assist HR Manager with various research projects and/or special projects.
  • Adhere to EEO and Affirmative Action guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
