Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Host or in a guest-facing role in a fine-dining or upscale-casual setting is strongly preferred
  • Strong communication skills with a polished phone manner
  • Friendly, engaging personality with a passion for delivering excellent service
  • Ability to manage time effectively and stay organized in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • A positive outlook and team-player attitude, with a strong commitment to excellence in service
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to interact with guests respectfully and courteously
  • Ability to handle guest concerns or inquiries in a calm and professional manner

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with reservation systems, such as OpenTable, is a plus
  • Experience handling reservations and assisting with event coordination is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued
  • Manage dining room reservations and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times
  • Assist with guest inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to requests
  • Provide special services for guests celebrating special occasions
  • Help with the organization and maintenance of the front-of-house area
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience throughout service
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant
  • Assist with to-go orders and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and organization
  • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented environment
